Has it gotten any better?
I switched to the beta, and forced myself to try and use it.
Fucking horrible. Comments all over the place, single ones at the top that were repeated below. I never knew if I was reading a whole thread or not. If you clicked on the timestamp of the first comment, you got something different than if you clicked on the lead comment header.
I have read the instructions created by a oDeck user and, while helpful, it's completely ridiculous to have to write instructions to read/post on a website.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I felt like this at every click, and the comments just scrambled, with no order or logic.
Then I read that there were still bugs in it. "What the hell am I trying this for then? , I thought to myself.

I read through the article you linked to. He is correct in every way, it's just Gawker that is screwing everything up. The redesign of the front page and everything is fine, it's just the comment are awful now. I seriously have no clue what is going on. I asked one of the editors earlier to make a post explaining how the comments system works and how everything is ordered, so we'll see.

The beta is just awful. I usually go on oppo on my phone, and it not that bad now. But the beta requires me to go to another account page to see my notifications. Jesus.
